🔥 The Forge — your Level 4 workspace
This is where you stop building projects and start forging an empire.
Everything you make in Level 4 (The Forge) lives here. Unlike the rest of my-projects/, this folder is not for practice — it’s for real things, with real users, real stakes, and your name on them. Treat it that way.
The laws you build under
Every room in this forge is judged against the three ideas at the heart of MILO:
- Adaptive Orchestration — your systems bend when the world changes, instead of shattering.
- Supervisory Primacy — you can always see, stop, and answer for anything your system does. Power keeps its reins.
- Viability — it only counts if it survives contact with the real world: real users, real load, real money.
The rooms
| Folder | Lesson | What you forge here |
|---|---|---|
oath.md |
19 | (you create this in Lesson 19) Your signed oath. The line you won’t cross. |
PROOF.md |
19 | (you create this in Lesson 19) The proof ledger. Every claim, with a link a stranger could verify. No proof, no pass. |
PROCTOR.md |
19 | (ships with the repo) The instructor’s script for the live gate calls. Read it, then share it with them. |
SHOW-ME.md |
19 | (ships with the repo) The ~15-min “show me” call that seals each lesson — the real milestone. |
01-first-blood/ |
20 | A real product in production that real strangers trust. |
02-swarm/ |
21 | A multi-agent swarm that obeys — orchestration under command. |
03-hardened/ |
22 | Tests, CI/CD, security, and load. The system that survives the storm. |
04-contribution/ |
23 | Your extension of MILO itself, people you led, and a published case study. |
05-empire/ |
24 | The capstone. A public launch with a real ask, and the founding story. |
Your forge log
Below, keep a running log of the one real thing you’re forging into an empire across Level 4 — what it is, who it’s for, and why it deserves to exist. Update it as the fire reshapes the plan. This is the first page of your founder’s story.
What I’m forging: (write it here)
Who it’s for: (one real person, not “everyone”)
Why it deserves to exist: (three sentences a stranger would nod at)
Say it out loud, on camera. Record a 30-second phone video — your face, your voice, your real room — saying the one thing you’re forging and why you personally want it to exist. Keep it in this folder (my-projects/forge/my-goal.mp4). No AI can fake your face, your voice, and your city; this is the truest thing in the whole workspace, and your instructor will hold your final work up against it. If you shipped a generic to-do app when the video said “this is for a real salon down the street,” that gap is the first thing they’ll ask about.
Pick your stake. Choose a small wager you set, and tell your instructor out loud — but shape it around defending the work, not around the app merely existing: “If by Sunday I can explain every part of this to my instructor with the files open, I earn it. If I can’t, honest redo, no reward.” The prize isn’t that it runs. It’s that you can prove it’s yours.
The forge is lit. Get to work. 🔨
